A. ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT OF HEALTH FACILITIES:

1983-1985: As Technical adviser of the board of Directors of the General Hospital of Lamia (400 beds):

  • Substantial participation in the managerial reorganization of the G.H.L., in connection with its unification with the Sanatorium (phase 1), and the gradual development of the Sanatorium into a 400 bed General Hospital (phase 2).

  • Gradual unification of services of both hospitals in phases in order to sustain the functionality, and cost-effective management in both of them.

  • Special study presenting the new needs in the management and com-missioning plan of the new hospital.

  • Organization and development of new departments in the Sanatorium: e.g. General Nursing Units, Operating dept, Renal dialysis dept.

1983-1989: As Technical adviser of the board of Directors of the General Hospital of Athens “G.Gennimatas”(800 beds):

  • Gradual managerial and functional unification of the two hospitals: “General State Hospital” and “K.O.F.K.A. (: State ophthalmology hospital).

  • Phasing of the above unification in order to sustain the functionality in management of both hospitals.
